Mixed Media Project

Mixed Media is defined as using 2 or more different mediums(colored pencil, paint, ink, etc.) in one piece of art. Read below for the expectations for this project. You'll have about 4-5 classes to work on this project.

Before you start find an artist whose techniques you like. Meet with the teacher to discuss your choice before starting.

What you're being graded on

Using 2 or more different mediums.
Including elements of color theory. Example: using complementary colors to create shadows.
Effort - see the chart on the home page for clarification.
Creativity - creating something original or new is better than just copying someone else's image. This doesn't mean you can't be inspired by someone and make something similar using their techniques, but if you just copy exactly what they have then it isn't very creative.
