Noses
When drawing noses you will mostly be drawing shadows. The only actual lines on a nose are around the nostrils.
What you're being graded on:
You have at least 3 noses drawn - the one below and two from other angles.
You use photos of real noses - not other people's drawings of noses.
The sides of the nose are defined with shadows not lines.
Draw this nose first! After this one you will search for 2 more different noses to draw.
These other 2 noses should be from different angles. Try adding different keywords in Google like side view, 3/4 view, looking up or looking down, etc. You can also just search for faces or heads and find one with a good view of a nose.
Tips for drawing noses (but don't draw this one!)
Start with a box and lines that form a cross in the middle.
Sketch in the edges of the nostrils and the shape that the tip of the nose creates.
Add the lines for the holes of the nostrils and lightly sketch the shapes of the shadows.
Slowly build up the shadows - making them a little darker each time. Watch for differences between the light, medium, and dark values around the nose.
