Perspective Drawing Project
This project will use all the skills we've been practicing in previous assignments to create a detailed perspective drawing. Your final image will be shaded and inked using pens. Follow the steps below to get started, review the project expectations at the bottom of this page, and look over the video section for extra help.

STEP 1
Choose whether you want to do 1 point, 2 point, or 3 point perspective, and decide what you want to draw. Some options you can draw are:
buildings
a city scene
inside a room
an object (should be detailed enough)
abstract shapes
something else? just ask!
STEP 2
Choose your size of paper. For 2 point and 3 point perspective you may need a larger piece.
Once you decide have the teacher cut your paper for you.
STEP 3
Find reference images of whatever you're drawing. They don't need to be the exact view you're drawing, but they should have the details. For example if you're doing a building you should have images of a building so you can see what the windows look like, the doors, roof, etc.
STEP 4
Begin your drawing! Use pencil and draw lightly. Do not shade with your pencil!
STEP 5
After you've finished your pencil drawing you will ink it with pen. Use cross hatching to shade.
