RAM-Lab
You will be removing the RAM from your computer. This is easy to do, but you must be VERY careful when handling the sticks of RAM, and when removing them. Any damage to the RAM means your computer will not work.
Lay your computer flat and open it up.
Locate the 2 sticks of RAM in your computer
SLOWLY push the 2 tabs at either end of the stick to eject it from the slot.
Carefully remove both sticks of RAM and place them in an anti-static bag.
Use two fingers to apply slow and steady pressure on the tabs at either end of the RAM.
This will release the stick from the slot.
Hold the RAM at either end and slowly lift it straight out of the slot.
At no point should you try and force it out of the slot.
If it sticks or catches gently reseat it in the slot and look for obstructions.
