Album Cover

Choose a band or musician you would like to design a cover for. Spend some time researching other album covers. When you have an idea you can set up your Photoshop document with the following settings:

Size = 8" x 8"
Resolution = 300
Color = RGB
Safe Zone = 1/4"

Follow the requirements below when making your cover:

• Do not just grab 1 picture and add some text.

• If the band has a logo for their name find an image online and use that.

• If using photos you must combine at least 3 different photos to create the cover.

• You may do an original drawing either digitally or with paint, pencils, etc.

• You may download fonts for your cover.

• The artwork should match the tone of the album.

• You may re-design a cover for an existing album.

• The cover should include the band name and album title.
